Assessment of coursework
Year 10: The pupil shall be awarded three grades for coursework, one in oral Norwegian, one in written Norwegian first-choice language and one in written Norwegian second-choice language.
Vg2 vocational education programmes: The pupil shall be awarded one grade for coursework.
Vg3 programmes for general studies: The pupil shall be awarded three grades for coursework, one in oral Norwegian, one in written Norwegian first-choice language and one in written Norwegian second-choice language.
Vg3 supplementary programme for general university and college admissions certification: The pupil shall receive three grades for coursework, one in oral Norwegian, one in written Norwegian first-choice language and one in written Norwegian second-choice language.
Examination for pupils
Year 10: The pupil may be selected for a two-day written examination which comprises written Norwegian in the first-choice and second-choice languages. The examination shall have a preparation part. The written examination is prepared and graded centrally. The pupil may also be selected for an oral examination with a preparation part. The oral examination is prepared and graded locally.
